Before and after school care program
Young Achiever's Club
In addition to school prep programs tailored to children’s developmental stages, Sunrise Preschools provides before and after school care in an enriching, nurturing environment. We keep in mind the importance of balancing recreation, social interaction, and academics – even our afternoon-adventurers continue to cultivate their growth and education with us.

After school creativity flourishes here
Building off of the foundation of our proprietary HighReach Learning curriculum, as well as continuing to explore the things they learn during school hours, Sunrise Preschools’ before and after school care program fosters a sense of personal growth and belonging. Children will participate in supervised homework sessions, organized sports, and creative outlet exploration.

Helping young achievers, achieve more
Days in our after school care program are filled with meaningful experiences, friendship, and laughter – we view each day as an opportunity to continue nurturing their curiosity, building their social skills, and instilling a passion for learning. Your child will take part in enriching activities, collaborative play, and more – all in a supportive environment.
Continuing to celebrate learning milestones
Geared towards school-age young achievers, our Young Achiever’s Club program curriculum celebrates your child’s continued growth by setting and celebrating developmental milestones during their years of early education. Our team of educators act as a supplement to your child’s schooling, creating a supportive environment that lets them continue to flourish outside of the traditional classroom.

More about the Young Achiever’s Club program
The science of reading
We also incorporate the science of reading into the Young Achiever’s Club program – this helps little ones develop, connect, and process the crucial skills and brain functions needed to become a successful reader. Through targeted readings, we’ll explore skills such as decoding (reading words), encoding (spelling), phonology (sounds), vocabulary, and writing.
S.T.R.E.A.M.
S.T.R.E.A.M stands for Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Art, and Math. With a S.T.R.E.A.M. focus on our after school programs, students have the opportunity to practice both analytics and creative thinking – combining these two types of thinking allows children to grow their problem-solving skills, and opens the doors to innovation and expression.
Social emotional learning
Encouraging children to interact with not only peers, but the adults in their everyday lives, allows them to gain a more thorough understanding of differing perspectives and styles of thinking, cultures, emotions, and overall broadens their horizons.
Physical health and development
Just as we’re passionate about developing strong, healthy minds – we want to do the same for young children’s bodies. Sunrise Preschools incorporates plenty of indoor and outdoor physical activity into the Young Achiever’s Club program, improving gross and fine motor skills, strength, and more.
Safety and transportation
In order to ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child in our care, Sunrise Preschools’ bus drivers are thoroughly vetted, must pass our Vehicle Driver Training Program, and are first aid and CPR certified. We aim to keep your children safe – whether they’re in our classrooms or on the way home.

How we partner with parents
Sunrise Preschools has a convenient mobile app, SPS Moments, which allows parents and families to follow along with their little one’s day through updates sent directly to your device. Families can download SPS Moments on Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
Caring for your child is an honor that we take seriously – that’s why we’re committed to providing high-quality child care in a safe and nurturing environment, as well as giving parents a way to be a part of their child’s learning journey.
Before and after school care programs that kids love
Our Young Achiever’s Club program builds on what your children learn in school, all while incorporating the same social, physical, emotional, and cognitive development as Sunrise Preschools’ other curriculum programs.
