Sunrise Preschools has implemented an Emergency Management Plan. The staff has received training to effectively deal with emergencies— accidents, civil disturbances, fires, power outages, community threats or natural disasters. The school is equipped with emergency management supplies which include: cellular phones, solar/battery operated radios, emergency backup lighting, alarm systems, flashlights with fresh batteries, a well-stocked first aid kit, an emergency supply of food and water.

We regularly practice emergency drills with the staff and children. Each school has developed an emergency evacuation plan; those plans are posted in each classroom. We also ask that you bring a full set of name-labeled extra clothing in a one-gallon plastic bag. For your infant, we require an extra day’s supply of formula and/or baby food.
