Our Policies
A Sunrise Preschools designated employee may administer properly labeled prescription medication (in the original container with the child’s name) once a day at 11:30 a.m., and you must authorize this administration in the required written format and state the purpose of this medication on a daily basis in the office.
This policy is strictly enforced for the safety of the children. All over-the-counter medications such as Tylenol and cough syrup must be accompanied by a doctor’s written authorization for each occurrence or use.

Sunrise Preschools cannot store medication overnight with the exception of “rescue” medications, such as epi-pens and inhalers. We do not administer any non-prescription medication without a written note from the doctor for that particular time and illness.
