Our accreditations and accolades
Our accomplishments, accreditations, and Star Ratings aren’t just signs on our door – they’re proof of our commitment to the safety of the children in our care, the quality education we strive to provide, and the talented staff we seek out and hire.
Our steadfast dedication to not only being the best but continually improving is what opens the door for Sunrise Preschools to be able to provide the children in our community with comfortable environments, engaging activities and learning opportunities, and safety in all aspects.

Building bright futures from a young age
Our numerous accolades and accreditations, as well as the relationships we’ve built with families and parents in our community, are a testament to our mission of setting every child up for a great start in life from the get-go. From our proprietary HighReach Learning curriculum, to the programs we tailor to your child’s specific developmental stage, to activities created with the purpose of transforming the way children explore and understand the world around them – Sunrise Preschools is honored to have the opportunity to be the place where your child learns and grows.
What does being accredited mean?
The rigorous standards to which child care programs are held are defined as accreditations at the national level, and Star Ratings at the state level. These standards ensure that child care programs are consistently and appropriately demonstrating commitments to safety, education, and other aspects of quality child care. This includes being evaluated for safety protocols, teacher qualifications, curriculum, and the overall quality of programs offered.
Sunrise Preschools is proud to be both accredited at the national level, as well as achieving Star Rating at the state level for the past X years and counting.

Who is responsible for accrediting child care programs?
In order to achieve accreditation, Sunrise Preschools works with a variety of organizations, including:
- The National Early Childhood Program Accreditation (NECPA)
- The National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC)
- The National Accreditation Committee for Early Child Care and Education (NAC)
These agencies work with child care programs like Sunrise Preschools to ensure that we meet or exceed the strict standards set, and continue providing the highest quality child care possible. At the state level, we work with a variety of state agencies to receive accreditation within the same categories.

What do these accreditations mean for families and children?
Accreditations are more than just boxes checked off on a list, or a logo on our website – they mean that Sunrise Preschools have been vetted against the highest quality, safety, and educational standards in our nation, as well as at a state level. They reflect our dedication to you and your child, and give parents and families peace of mind knowing that their children are spending their days being guided and encouraged by teachers who are truly passionate about providing care and education that results in successful futures – in grade school and beyond.
